Water Matters, also known as the Water Matters plan, is the short title given to the Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions integrated water management planning project.
Developed in partnership with Seqwater, Noosa Council and Sunshine Coast Council, the plan will guide how we manage water in a more integrated and sustainable way over the next 30 years, with the aim of contributing to a healthy, liveable and sustainable future across the Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions.
The Water Matters plan has been in development since 2020, with the partners engaging a broad cross-section of community, industry partners, stakeholder and First Nations representatives to inform a plan that reflects community priorities.
Feedback from this engagement helped inform the final version of the Water Matters plan, available here.
