North Lakes Wastewater Pipeline Upgrade Project

About this project

Unitywater is investing in new wastewater infrastructure to support growth in the City of Moreton Bay. The North Lakes Wastewater Upgrade Project will deliver a safe and reliable wastewater pipeline for the North Lakes, Narangba and Deception Bay communities in a sustainable way to meet the demands of our growing region.

What we are doing

On behalf of Unitywater, our contractor Eastoli Civil Construction, is replacing and upgrading 330 metres of wastewater pipeline. Construction started on the corner of Expedition Drive and Sundown Circuit, North Lakes and will move north from 1 – 31 Sundown Circuit, North Lakes.

What to expect

The essential upgrade work will include:

• Establishment of a temporary site office and laydown area, for machinery and pipe, in the green space across the road from 21 Sundown Circuit
• Minor vegetation removal on the corner of Expedition Drive and Sundown Circuit
• The project will take up to three months to complete (weather permitting)
• Construction on the pipeline commenced in early April and is due for completion by end June 2025.
