Information to the certifiers

Hi Unitywater,
Thanks for this forum it has provided clarity on a number of matters, as summarised below as advised by Unitywater.

  • The City of Moreton Bay concrete laneways under the SEQ Code are defined as carriageways. Therefore Clause 4.1 defines all water main road crossings of these laneways as carriageways and therefore required to be PVC-O PN20 (min). or as an alternate PE or DICL.
  • All design/as-cons/red-line drawings revisions to satisfy SEQ Code AIS Section 6.20 Revisions.
  • Unitywater still to advise if for commercial and industrial areas whether Section 5.10.2 of the Seq code requirements for temporary dead end mains apply.
  • All red-line mark ups only apply to infrastructure outside allowable construction tolerances.

Whilst this forum has been very helpful, many certifiers may not use this forum or keep up to date with newsletters.
Just wondering how clarity on these topics is being distributed to the industry via. policy or by other means.
