Lost Dog on Caboolture River Road

Whilst setting up for the day on the Waraba Wastewater Network in Caboolture West, a traffic control crew noticed a lost and very distressed puppy on Caboolture River Road.
The crew immediately worked to stop oncoming traffic and guide the dog off the busy road. Upon inspection, the team found he had no collar or identification, and decided to keep the puppy safe and gave him plenty of water and food until help could be found.
Despite posts to local community groups, no one had come forward to claim the dog by the end of the day, so the crew contacted a local veterinary clinic who helped facilitate the dog being placed in the care of the local RSPCA.
Although multiple efforts have been made throughout the community to locate any potential owners, the puppy is still in the care of the RSPCA and will shortly be available for adoption.
