Waraba Wastewater construction and restoration works conclude

Our contractor, Killard Tallai Joint Venture (KTJV), is putting the finishing touches on the Waraba Wastewater Network Project with final restoration works expected to be completed by end-March (weather pending).
As part of the final works, you may see construction crews on Petersen Road, Walkers, Crabapple Court and Parkridge Avenue as we implement the finishing touches promised to our residents and the community.
Upon completion, the project will deliver a new wastewater pumping station and 4.5km of pipeline to provide 70,000 people with safe and reliable wastewater services for at least the next 40 years.
Unitywater and KTJV would like to thank the local community who have worked closely with us to ensure the project was completed on time and on budget. We are extremely grateful to the impacted residents for their patience, valued feedback and understanding whilst we delivered this essential infrastructure for our community.
To recognise the hard work and long hours invested on site, Unitywater recently hosted a breakfast to show appreciation for the construction team. The morning was a chance to share stories and reflect on key moments from the project’s initial to now final phases.
Thank you for your contribution!
